Wendy Mawer
Council Direct, Waveney District Council

Wendy Mawer is Portfolio Holder for Regeneration on Waveney District Council and is also a member of Suffolk County Council. She is a Board Member on the Suffolk Development Agency, Norfolk & Waveney Enterprise Services, Waveney Local Strategic Partnership, and Lowestoft College.

Widowed with three grown and flown daughters, Wendy has lived in Suffolk for nearly 40 years. She has a public relations and sales background, including working for the Dairy Council Australia, and ran a sales and marketing company with over 200 staff.

Her other interests include gardening, walking, quizzes and grandchildren.
