Richard Wright
Chairman

Richard Wright was appointed Chairman of the URC in July 2005.

He is a former estates manager for Norwich Union Life insurance, former director of Jones Lang Lasalle and past president of the British Council of Shopping Centres.

Educated at Paston school in North Walsham and with a strong background in private business working in partnership with public authorities, Richard has considerable experience in property development and a network of national property contacts.

Personal statement:
“I am delighted to have been appointed chairman, and extremely excited by the challenges which lie ahead. People in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft can be assured of a great future ahead of them as the two areas begin to benefit from the development of the URC and restored confidence.”
