Mark Bayley
Communications and Marketing Manager

Mark joined 1st East from City College Norwich where he was previously Head of Marketing & Communications for the last ten years. Prior to that he was Marketing Manager for the Office Supplies Division of the Stationery Office (formerly HMSO) in Norwich.  Mark started his career in the retail sector working for the electronics retailer Tandy Corporation (UK) Ltd and also worked in the DIY and leisure industry sectors.

At City College Mark was responsible for the full range of marketing services including college prospectuses and publications, advertising, media and public relations, market research, web development and new media.

He graduated from Leicester University with a BSc (Hons) in Geography and holds a professional postgraduate diploma in Marketing. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

He moved to Norfolk from the West Midlands in 1994 and has over twenty years experience in marketing and communications in both the public and private sectors.

Personal statement:
"Working in partnership with our diverse range of stakeholders and communities, active and open communications are essential. Getting the message across that there are exciting development opportunities in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth is a key task and I’m looking forward to contributing to helping to make the two towns great places in which to live, work, study and visit".
