Friday 16th July 2010

In a bid to build on the the momentum created by The Crown Estate visit in June, 1st East has participated in three more educational events in the last month.

Chief executive Philip Watkins presented prizes to high-achieving students at Great Yarmouth College on Thursday, 8 July, and the next day, gave a talk on energy sector opportunities to around 90 staff at The Denes High School, Lowestoft.

Communications & marketing manager Joanna Young followed this on Monday, 12 July with a talk to teachers and local educational representatives at Lynn Grove High School. Again, the emphasis was on the jobs that could be created by the Round 3 developments and how teachers could involve students in the new projects.
