Developers should make contact via the executive office of 1st East (see below for details), with a short introductory summary of the proposed scheme, in duplicate. The executive team at 1st East, or officers of the local Planning Departments, may also request such summaries when they become aware of potential proposals.
If it is decided that a scheme should be reviewed by the Panel, the applicants will be asked to provide 10 copies of the scheme information, at least two weeks before the date of the Panel meeting. Such information should include clear context plans and elevations, and not be focussed narrowly on the development itself. If possible and appropriate, site meetings will be arranged prior to the Panel Review.
Presentations to the Panel should normally last 30 minutes, and will be followed by about 20 minutes of questions before the applicants are asked to withdraw while the Panel considers its recommendations.
A written report will be sent to the applicants, with copies to the 1st East Board and to the relevant local Planning authority, approximately one week after the Review meeting.
The report will then be published on the 1st East website, unless there are clear issues of commercial confidentiality.
