The 19 hectare Kirkley Waterfront site will feature a new high-quality business and light industry park with 20,000 sqm of commercial space. It will also feature up to 340 homes.

Already planned is a £50m public sector cash injection in new offices for the DEFRA-sponsored Centre for Aquaculture, Fisheries and Science (CEFAS) research centre, plus combined facilities for Suffolk County Council and Waveney District Council.

A key feature of Kirkley Waterfront will be a new road running East-West opening up brownfield development opportunities.
